Hello, my name is Kayla Fitzpatrick. I am an 8th grade student at David Ellis Academy West in Redford Michigan.I really love reading, especially when I'm reading stories about other people. I am here to tell you why "A child called "It" is my favorite book.

This is my favorite story because it tells about the author, David Pelzer who was abused by his own mother who was also an alcoholic. I strongly believe that no one deserves to be abused by anyone. Especially by the people who are supposed to love you care for you. I would be very happy if I could win this book. Thank you for taking out the time to reading what I have to say.
