A Woman's Place by Barbara Delinsky

by Jill
(Worcester, PA)

I just could not put this book down...I read while dinner was cooking, while sitting in traffic, just whenever I had a minute. I just HAD to find out what was going to happen.

This is not my first Delinsky book...I have enjoyed most of her books that I have read. She just has a way of writing that consistently needs your attention.

In A Woman's Place, I "needed" to know how and what Claire Raphael would do to keep and get back what was hers. It brought you through all the emotions of what she was going through.

It was about a woman who finds herself kicked out of her house and not allowed to see her own children thanks to her husband's insecurities as a man. Claire is a very successful wicker furniture franchise owner who earns much more than her husband does. It never bothered her that she made more money than her husband did. She loved him unconditionally, however, he had problems with it. But, upon returning from a business trip and visiting her ill mother, Claire's world turns upside down and A Woman's Place takes you on the roller coaster with Claire to an interesting outcome.

I just loved it!
