CAN YOU GO HOME AGAIN?
Andie Rinaldi has just lost her job at the country's most respected newspaper, her big-city apartment is going condo, her long-distance romance is suffering from travel fatigue, and her twin sister is threatening a relapse of her “impulse control problem.” Worse yet, Andie's new employer—the country's least respected celebrity tabloid—has ordered her to cross the river to her tiny hometown and report on a shocking, as-yet-unsolved murder that involves childhood friends . . . and enemies. Caught between a rock (the New Jersey Palisades) and a hard place (New York City), Andie finds herself becoming part of the sensational story, while confronting her own past, present and future.

LOVED it, start to finish. Across the River is dark, charming, funny, and gorgeously written—a magnificent debut from a great new talent." —Cornelia Read, author of the Madeline Dare mysteries A Field of Darkness and The Crazy School.
Solimini tells her tale as only a true Jersey girl could! She has the Turnpike running through her veins. —Chris Grabenstein, author of the John Ceepak Jersey Shore mysteries
A fine read! Solimini brilliantly captures the bittersweet taste of going home again. —Robin Hathaway, author of Sleight of Hand, a Dr. Jo Banks mystery
I always appreciate a well-executed plot, but Across the River has a lot more than that. It also has heart, as well as a memorable narrator, Andrealisa Rinaldi, who makes many of her kind (you know, the sassy but sensitive narrator with the heart of gold) pale in comparison. Hell, even the cover is good. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and look forward to more by Solimini. —Mysterious Matters
The story is full of warmth and humor with loads of interesting characters. Across the River is an enjoyable read. —Victoria Kennedy, Midwest Book Review
Fans of quirky, rebellious female sleuths are going to love Across the River. I know I did! —Betty Webb, Mystery Scene
The novel is "peopled" with ... a varied cast of characters who... are never anything but interesting, as is the book itself. —Gloria Feit, Spinetingler, CrimeSpree, Mystery Morgue and DorothyL
