All of the Harry Potter's!!! By J.K. Rowling

Well the number one reason would be that she's the best writer I've ever read! J.K. Rowling created such a believable world that a person can't help but fall in love and be part of that world entirely. It's all so real, so detailed, and the characters are people you would be either best friends with or enemies in your own life. There is such a connection between the reader and Harry that you feel every event, you react to every situation that effects him! You find yourself completely subdued in this world, and I know for me I wished with all my heart while I was reading it that this world were real. That we could somehow escape to it and see all of the people we love in the book! Attend the school and walk the grounds with those same people.

One thing I still am amazed about is that they say these series are for children/young adults, and here I am in my early 30's and believing this fairytale that seems so much more intense than you would think some children's book could ever be! To me it doesn't seem real that this story could ever only be for children, especially since almost every reading adult I know love these books as much as I do! I even struggle with understanding how children can even comprehend the intensity and edge of darkness in her writing, but I'm glad for it because it reels in the youth to read more and find imagination in so many forms.

I am an avid reader and would read just about anything, but her books have effected me the most and made the most difference in my life. There are not many other books that I could make the same comment about. For that I will forever be grateful to J.K. Rowling, and Harry Potter in giving me that gift of imagination and passion for the unknown. It feels alive to believe!
