| Book Club Picks: Dimity Down Under Opinion |
|---|
This was my first Dimity mystery (there are 14!) and I found it refreshing and easy to read. I liked that it was a quest for Lori, the main character, and that she learned new bits of information as she conquered each leg of her journey.
The Dimity twist, a supernatural friend whom Lori communicates with through an old leatherbound diary, was odd but again refreshing. I like a "clean" mystery in this new world of gore so this story appealed to me. I definitely am interested in reading back through the series and as they are quick reads, I don't think it will take me too long.
As far as book clubs go, the supernatural aspect would make for an interesting discussion!

- Would you do for the Pym's what Lori does? Why or why not?
- Could you live in a village like Flint where everyone knows everyone and treats each other like family instead of neighbors?
- Do you like Aunt Dimity? Why or why not?
