I find this book sad. Where were her so called friends while Anna Nicole lay dying in a hotel room? Howard K. Stern was out boat shopping and Moe, her own well paid bodyguard, left her with his wife! With the death toll rising from celebrities mixing prescription drug combination “cocktails,” this story gives plenty of fodder for all of us plain folk to chew on.

How many people, I suspect millions, use 3-4 different prescriptions daily? Add a little alcohol or uncontrolled substance, or maybe even a cold medicine, and you might not wake up one morning. We're seeing more and more premature deaths of so many stars, Heath Ledger being the latest! Famous words of Rosie O'Donnell...."It's easy to get lost in what the public perceives of you and become the star and not the person anymore."

Who's next? Will it be Brittany Spears fate? She's the one we are all watching now, as we were Anna Nicole Smith a few years back. Fame isn't what it is cracked up to be.
