Death in the Garden by Elizabeth Ironside

Death in the Garden BOOK SYNOPSIS

In 1925 a woman who is a famous photographer is charged with murdering her husband on the weekend of her birthday when she has several house guests present.

She is acquitted, and the crime is never solved. Sixty years later, her niece inherits the house where the murder took place and decides to try to solve the murder by doing research on all the people who were guests at her aunt's party that weekend.

TERRI'S REVIEW

The book is elegantly written and organized so that the lives of the niece and her aunt are intertwined. The story is more than a murder mystery. It becomes a consideration of marriage and personal freedom as well as friendship and loyalty.

A real page turner with substance!
