The daring crime, the three are kidnapped on their way to their first meeting as owners of San Francisco’s pro football team, takes the lives of a total of 10 people, including two policemen and the innocent wife of San Francisco Police Detective Abe Evans.

Despite warnings from the authorities, Morton agrees to pay the $100 million ransom for the safe return of his wife and only children. But the kidnappers never intended to honor their end and they brutally bury the three victims alive. Mortons son miraculously escapes and lives just long enough to tell his horrifying story before succumbing to his injuries. An aggrieved Morton is plunged into depression, sadness and anger.

Morton continues to stew, unable to forget the pain or his humiliation and anger. When the police can not solve the crime, it adds insult to injury. So much money and so much status, yet he is utterly powerless. Or is he?

Morton decides to use his considerable wealth to get justice for himself. He begins to assemble an organization built especially to avenge the death of his family and the families and loved ones of the other innocent victims.

He enlists the help of Evans, whose life has spiraled out of control. Mortons proposal is just what Evans needs. Although he does not trust Mortons motives or his money, Evans knows Morton wants these men just as badly as he does.

With Mortons money and Evans know-how, they assemble a team to locate the gang of kidnapers and avenge the murders. In an epic chase that spans the Globe from Miami to the Canary Islands, Monte Carlo and Hong Kong, Evans and Morton find the killers and, one-by-one, bring them to justice.

The experience teaches Morton that his money can make a difference in this world, not only for himself but for others as well. He and Evans resolve to travel the world fighting for justice everywhere.
