Monica Moreland is about to discover there are lies, damned lies, and show business. In an effort to tow her floundering design business out of a sea of red ink, Monica signs up as a decorator on The Designing Game, where she offers a remodel to her choice of three bachelors. She selects Bachelor Number Two -- an egghead scientist with a foo-foo dog -- as her dream decorating date.

Only the egghead isn't a scientist, and his dog is no wimp. Plus, he hates her design, live in front of the TV audience. Her company's future is headed for more rough water unless Monica can convince Jerrod O'Neal to quit rocking the boat.
