Free Book Review Search Criteria
A rating system that is explained.
In other words, book review guidelines. While we may think we know the meaning of 1 through 5 stars, it can be different for each reviewer.
You want an online book review site that explains the rating they are giving a book.
A summary/synopsis of the book.
Any person writing a book review worth reading knows they must include a decent summary of the book for their readers. The summary doesn't
have to give away the farm but should include enough detail, without using much persuasion, about the book so you can make an informed
decision.
A strong opinion!
If you wanted just a basic book summary you wouldn't be doing a book review search. The point of a review is to help you decide if you are
interested in reading the book or not. Neutral opinions generally mean the book was only okay. Look for a strong reaction, like OR dislike,
and most likely youve found a worthy read.
A place for Readers Comments.
When you read a book review you almost certainly form an opinion. A good online book review site will allow you to voice that opinion,
even if its in conflict with their own!
