Short Summary: Jessica Neal lost her faith the day her husband died. In trying to find answers, she goes on a trip. Somehow she has an accident and ends up in the fourteen century. You read about knights, castles, war and romance. It grips you and draws you in like you are living the medieval times yourself. The different characters allow you to picture things you yourself have battled with or someone you know would. Reading about Jessica being trapped in the castle and her life in danger grips you with fear hoping and praying she will make it out. Fantastic reading.
My opinion of the book is that by reading this book you can see the battle of good and evil at work. You can relate it to your own life. I could relate to Jess because right now I feel at times I find myself wanting to run from God instead of toward him. Jess is angry with God and we would all be honest we all get there at times. Reading about the occult was so real it left you holding your breath and cringing. At must read if you ask me.
