Gone with the Wind, Margaret Mitchell
This was the book that sparked my life long love of books. I was 12 years old when I read " Gone with the Wind" I read it in 3 days.It not only whetted my appetite for books , but also for history especially the war between the states(I am a southerner after all). Now at 58 I have read thousands of books, but none touch my sense of romance or adventure as this one does and who can ever forget the two most famous lines of all. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" and "Tomorrow is another day" Return to Home |
