"Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott

Until the age of 9, I was an only child. When I would read "Little Women" the theme of the story that always touched me the most was the unwavering bond the sisters had with each other.

I would beg my parents for siblings, in that way that only a lonely child can, and was blessed with two sisters that I love with all my heart. I have read "Little Women" many times over the years, and each time that I re-visit Jo, Beth, Meg and Amy, and their kooky sisterly bond, I become happy and fill with pride that my bond with my own sisters is stronger than ever.
