Homemade Gourmet Recipe: London Broil Recipe with Potatoes

Meat and Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 London Broil (meat section in grocery store, can get any size you want)
  • 5 Baking Potatoes (large size)
  • 8 Carrots
  • 2 packets of McCormick MESQUITE marinade (can sub with another marinade if you choose)
  • 1 Onion

You will also need:

  • 1 large oven bag
  • 1 twisty tie
  • 1 large cookie sheet

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Cut the potatoes into cubes. You can choose to peel them or not.
Peel the carrots. Cut into round pieces.
Peel the onion. Cut into small pieces.
Put all vegetables in the oven bag.

Mix the MESQUITE marinade in a bowl. After mixed, pour ALL into the oven bag with veggies. Hold the bag closed and shake it around. The veggies should be totally coated with marinade. Lay the oven bag on it's side on the cookie sheet. Spread the veggies out so they cover the majority of the sheet but so you still have hold of the open end of the bag. Place the London Broil in the center of the veggies. Nestle it down into the middle so it also gets the marinade coating. Close the oven bag using the twisty tie. There should be a small hole in the opening so that air can still escape.

Cook 45 minutes on 350. Check occasionally. Depending on the oven it may take longer or shorter.

Serve with crusty French bread.
