I almost didn't read The Lovely Bones because the first chapter was so disturbing. But a dear friend of mine had told me how good it was, so I pressed on.

I must say that I am glad I did. Towards the end it is almost poetry about life, it is so beautifully written. I would highly recommend this book to others with a warning that portions are disturbing. But the goodness of life (and death) overcomes the ugliness in the end.

I was given this book by a great friend, an English teacher at that. Being the stubborn person I am I thought - "no book can be interesting" but my friend pushed me to read it.

It was amazing!

No matter what you have been through in your life if you've experienced a death this will relate to you somehow. More importantly, give you some peace in knowing that the loved one you've lost is watching over you. They are watching you suffer and even though it might be unpleasant for them, watching you survive their death which is never an easy task.

This book is a 5 all the way I would recommend it to my closest friends, to my truest enemies because this book is for everyone!

PLEASE READ THIS! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!
