One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest by Ken Kesey

Possibly the greatest book ever written, Kesey's, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," is a masterpiece.

The book indicates societies push for conformity greater than any other novel. With beautiful images of R.P. McMurphy taking on the system of the hospital and Nurse Ratched. Simply put, the book is a manifestation of all beautiful thoughts in an ugly world.

This novel is so great for so many reasons. The perspective of the novel is very original and complex-you hate him, you love him. Nurse Ratched and Chief are enduring characters within literature's conscience because they were portrayed so vividly and were such striking characters.

When I first read this book I knew I was getting into something great after the author Kesey goes into writing about "The Black Boys" and how Nurse Ratched tries to sugarcoat her appearance to the patients in the ward (Martini,Billy Bibbit,Cheswick) Chief acting the way he did had already seen Nurse Ratched for what she really was a cold-hearted person who not only got great joy out of watching the patients get more and more insane as the day grew on but she was a racist to boot.

This Book showed me not to judge people for looks or faults they might have in there past. Life is much to short to go on judging people. Mcmurphy was the bird who saw these small baby chicks in there nest begging for help and he paid with his life.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is a Brillant Novel and should be around the next 100 generations. God Bless You, Ken Kesey R.I.P
