Book Club Queen

One Thousand White Women

by Sue
(Massachusetts)

Read this for my book club. I loved the book but am looking for something Cheyenne or traditional Native American to serve. Any ideas?

Queenie D Says:

Try this site: NativeTech for many traditional Native American Recipes.

Our book club had Bean&Corn soup as a starter and Wild Turkey with Squash for the main dish. It was different but yummy!

Come back and tell us how it goes.

Good luck!

I don't know specific Cheyenne cuisine but you might try fish if your folks like it. You can do it in a pouch of parchment with veggies and then serve over rice. Also cedar planked salmon is from the Pacific Northwest - not exactly the same but you get the idea.
