Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
by elizabeth
I like this book because it gives the view of how hard it was to find a good husband back when you had to marry young. Elizabeth wasn't like all the other girls and was more selective of who she would consider. She stood up for what she believed and was stubborn to get what she wanted. I like that at the end of the book Elizabeth does end up getting married to a guy that she hated and never considered to be a good husband for her. I think it is ironic that she should marry him and adds a good twist to the story.
