This is the first time in a long time I've read one of Marta's books. I had read them in the past and enjoy every book she writes.
But this was her first book about Amish and she wanted me to read it and see what I thought. It was a book hard to put down and helped me through a time when I was dealing with hurt from a person at church, my husband in pain from surgery and men and pain don't mix, my own pain in my back, etc. The Amish have to deal with struggles and losses in their lives and are not really that much different as we think. Sure they center their lives around their faith but so do I.
It did not take me very long to read this book as one must keep reading.
