Fantastic book! I was hooked from page one!
What an interesting story. Not only is it deeply infused with Nazi Germany history, as well as other WWII events, it takes the idea of a vigilante killer to a whole new level. In this case, the vigilante is none other than the hero of the book, Matt Royal. His motives are pure - he wants revenge for the horrific and uncalled for murder of his best friend. But the question on my mind the whole time was this - is he any better than the men he sets out to destroy? He trades their lives for Wyatt's, and does so with little remorse. The unease he feels comes as a result of wondering whether or not it matters to him that he's killed men in cold blood.
A male author is always an interesting choice for book clubs (unless of course it's Nicholas Sparks) because many women will not be able to relate to the story or the characters. However, most people love a fast-paced action-drama which is exactly what Wyatt's Revenge provides. The possibilities for discussion relating to Nazi Germany and revenge killings could potentially spark a discussion you wouldn't want to miss!
