The Other Ones by Jean Thesman

I remember the first day that I saw The Other Ones. I was at my local thrift store and I was looking at the books. When I saw The Other Ones on the shelf my first thought was that it was yet another Christian book, So I didn't pick it up.

The next time we went it was still there, So that time I picked it up, looked at the cover and yet again thought that it was a book that I would not like. So I put it back without even reading the back. The third time I went to the thrift store I of course looked at the books and sure enough The Other Ones was still there, So this time I actually read the back of the cover and found that it was a fantasy novel that sounded kind of good. So I bought it.

A few weeks went by before I read it. When I finally did I wasn't expecting much, But received a lot. It was my first shape-shifter book and even to this day is my favorite. I cannot put into words how glad I am that I finally got The Other Ones.
