To The Power of Three by Laura Lipman

This is not as good as Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, but is still a very good book. It is about a school shooting only this time with girls.

Three girls were best friend for most of their lives, when something happens their senior year of high school. One is dead, one is shot in the face, and the other is shot in the foot.

This was exciting and I had a hard time putting it down. I work in a high school and the things that are talked about is what is happening in my school -- too close to home, so to speak. I found the reason for the shooting surprising and scary and it is believable to me since we are dealing with this issue.
