Mickey Hennessey's job as second-in-command at The Jefferson Club couldn't get any more plush. He works with the best and brightest and has the opportunity to hobnob with the richest, most powerful men in the world. For many security agents, it would be a dream come true.
That is, until the fateful New Years Eve where everything goes wrong. A group calling themselves The Third Position Army manage to break through what was supposed to be an impenetrable security system and take a group of 200 people, women and children included, hostage. Not only do they take them hostage, but they obviously have no problem murdering them in cold blood if it suits their purposes.
Mickey just barely escapes but his children are left on the inside with the hostage group. He's out of his mind with fear and worry but has no way to save them. The situation gets really ugly as the Army begins putting the multibillionaires on trial for "crimes against humanity." It becomes apparent that this group is going to kill in order to make their message clear.
Battling his own demons with the help of beautiful FBI agent, Cheyenne O'Neil, Mickey is in for the fight of his life, and his children's. The troubling question is - will he find a way to break through the Third Position's defenses to get his kids back?

Bravo to Mark Sullivan! Triple Cross is a fast-paced adventure interwoven with themes incredibly relevant in today's world. Add a dash of mystery, such as the hidden identity of the man called General Anarchy, and you've got the makings of not only a bestseller but a Blockbuster movie, for which the likes of actors such as Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, and Sam Jackson will be vying for positions.
Building on an incredible plot is the very realistic character of Mickey, who wins our immediate empathy and support. He's a fallen hero with a sordid past who loves his kids fiercely and is always trying to do the right thing. I felt his anguish as he waited to find out if his triplets were still alive and cheered with him as he seemed to allow himself the possibility of falling for a woman. I promise you'll follow his every move with eager anticipation for what he'll do next to try and save the day. You won't be disappointed!
